Freesat - What's on My5

What's on My5

We’re excited to announce the launch of My5 on Freesat today and what better way to celebrate than to share with you some of our top highlights.

From today, you’ll be able to catch up with some great telly, not only on all the Channel 5 family channels (5STAR, 5USA, 5Spike, 5SELECT and Paramount Network), but also on series from Spark, Real Stories, Next by Hot, BLAZE, BET, PBS America, and Together.

So whether you’re looking for a new drama to dive into, sporting highlights or a riveting new documentary, there’s plenty for you to discover.

In a new partnership with Israeli broadcaster HOT, Channel 5 have acquired some brilliant foreign language dramas including fact-based drama Miguel, and two seasons of crime series Sirens and Mekimi, an autobiographical story about a young couple living in 1990s Tel Aviv.

You’ll also be able to catch up on presidential drama Designated Survivor starring Kiefer Sutherland, and on the latest episodes of Vikings and Agent Carter. Also, brand new legal drama Striking Out starring Neil Morrissey and Amy Huberman is definitely worth a watch.

If you want to relax with some outrageous reality TV, then you’ve definitely come to the right place. With episodes of The Bachelor UK, Paul O Grady’s Blind Date and everyone’s favourite tech series, The Gadget Show, you’ll definitely have your pick of the best. Go, on get the kettle on…

Movie nights are about to get a whole lot better with some action-packed film favourites featuring some stellar stars. We recommend tuning into survival film, Rescue Dawn, starring Christian Bale and crime-drama Basic, which follows a D.E.A. Agent (John Travolta) who investigates the disappearance of a legendary Army Ranger Drill Sergeant (Samuel L Jackson) and several of his cadets.

We’ve got the popcorn ready…

If there’s one thing we know Freesat viewers love, it’s a great documentary, and My5 has plenty for you to delve into. From Ben Fogle’s New Lives in the Wild, to Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly and World War II in Colour, you’ll be able to get your fix of travel, nature, history and the royals. Plus, PBS America has some intriguing American history docs that you’ll want to add to your watchlist.

Calling all sporting fans! From Rugby, World Rally Racing, Live Boxing and our favourite, The World’s Strongest Man, you’ll never miss a moment of action. Keep up-to-date with the very best sporting highlights on My5.
