How many recordings can I make at the same time?
Our latest Recordable 4K TV Box can record up to four shows at the same time, depending on the type of satellite dish you have.
If you’ve switched from SkyQ then your dish is likely to have a wideband LNB – that’s the part that sticks out from the middle of the dish. This type of dish lets you record up to 4 shows at the same time, or if you’re already watching a programme on one channel, you’ll be able to record another 3.
If you’re switching from Sky+ then your dish is likely to have a standard LNB with either one or two cables; if yours has two cables you should be able to record up to 2 shows at the same time, and if it only has one then you’ll be able to record one show at a time.
You can check what type of LNB your dish has in the Settings menu, under System Information.
Just scroll down to Signal Info and your dish information will be listed next to ‘Type’.
See the table below for more information.
