What is Professionals about?

The show follows the story of a top-tier security operative named Vincent (Tom Welling) who has been employed to protect rich and powerful clients, no matter the cost. When a satellite explodes during its launch, Vincent is hired by the designer of the rocket, Peter Swann (Fraser) who suspects that sabotage was the cause.

When can I watch Professionals on TV?

Originally airing on The CW in America, the UK get to experience Professionals for the first time, for free. Watch it on 5Action from 30th March at 9pm on your Freesat 4K TV Box!

Where have I seen Tom Welling before?

You may recognise the actor from his time playing Clark Kent / Superman in hit series Smallville, but he also appeared in Netflix’s Lucifer as Marcus Pierce, the primary antagonist of season 3.

As for Brendan Fraser, his most prominent role has been Rick O’Connell in The Mummy franchise, but his upcoming works include The Whale alongside Sadie Sink (Stranger Things), as well as currently filming the new Batgirl film as the supervillain Firefly who you may know from the DC comics. He’ll be starring alongside Leslie Grace (In the Heights), JK Simmons and Michael Keaton.
