A party in a Los Angeles skyscraper turns into a hostage situation, when a group of thieves take control of the building. Unfortunately for them, McClane manages to slip away. Alan Rickman co-stars as the sharply composed villain Hans Gruber.

When a group of boys become trapped inside a flooded cave in Thailand, a complex rescue effort begins involving experts from around the world. The conditions are unpredictable, and every decision carries risk. Viggo Mortensen and Colin Farrell play two of the divers working on the operation in this film based on real events.

In this tense political thriller, the US President’s plane is hijacked mid-flight, leaving him cut off and forced to deal with the situation himself. As the standoff develops, he moves through the aircraft trying to stay one step ahead. Harrison Ford plays President James Marshall, with Gary Oldman as the man behind the takeover.

A police officer arrives on a remote island to investigate the disappearance of a young girl, but the locals are not especially helpful. Their traditions and behaviour raise more questions the longer he stays. Edward Woodward stars as the officer, with Christopher Lee as the island’s quietly imposing leader.
