How do I set a reminder?
To set a reminder, tap the alarm clock icon under the programme title and date. You can turn the reminder on or off by tapping the same icon again.
How do I view reminders?
Go to the My Freesat section of the app. Tap See All next to the Remind Me section to view your reminders by day. To check another day, simply select it from the calendar.
To delete a reminder, swipe left on the programme you want to remove.
Can I change the notification time for reminders?
Yes, you can. Open the Settings menu by tapping the cogwheel icon in the top right corner of My Freesat, then select Reminder Notice.
You can choose from the following options:
- 1 minute before
- 5 minutes before
- 15 minutes before
- 30 minutes before
- 1 hour before
- 24 hours before
Reminders are set to 5 minutes by default. Any changes will only apply to reminders you set after updating the timeframe.
Can I set series reminders?
At the moment, you can’t set reminders for an entire series. However, you can set reminders for individual programmes up to seven days in advance. Once you’ve done that, use the Plan my week feature in My Freesat to review your schedule.
I’ve set reminders but can no longer see them. Why?
Reminders disappear once the programme has aired. If you’ve changed your region, this can also affect your reminders due to differences in the TV schedule.
To restore them, switch back to your previous region. Your reminders will reappear in the Remind Me section under My Freesat.
