I can’t find the channel I’m looking for

If a channel seems to be missing from your Freesat box, don’t worry, here are a few quick checks that can help:

Step 1: Check channel availability

Not all channels are available on the Freesat platform. To see the most up-to-date list of channels and On Demand players, visit our  channels page.

Step 2: Restart your box

A simple reboot can often fix the issue.

  • Freesat 4K Boxes: Press and hold the Power button on your box for 5 seconds.
  • Humax or Manhattan Boxes: Put your box into standby for 30 seconds, then switch it back on.

Step 3: Check your signal

Loose cables or a weak signal can cause channels to disappear.

  • Make sure the satellite cables are firmly connected at the back of your box.
  • To check your signal strength, go to:Settings → System Information → Signal Strength
  • If everything looks fine, try running a channel scan:Settings → Freesat Channels → Channel Scan
