YouTube loading error on Humax set-top boxes

We are happy to confirm that the issue impacting some of our Humax customers when accessing the YouTube app has now been resolved. You should now be able to access the YouTube app as normal.

We are aware of an issue some of our Humax customers are having accessing the YouTube app. This is currently being investigated and we will update this page as soon as we have further information.
Playback issue with BBC applications on Humax set-top boxes

We are pleased to confirm that Humax have been able to provide a fix to restore service to BBC applications (including iPlayer, News and Sport). You should now be able to access these services on Humax devices as normal. page on our website.
15:40PM - October 9th, 2020
Service has been temporarily restored to BBC applications accessed via Freesat Humax set top boxes. We expect a further fix to follow and will continue to provide updates here.

We are aware of an issue affecting Humax set-top boxes whereby they are unable to playback content from BBC applications (including iPlayer, News and Sport). We appreciate that this is frustrating and would like to apologise for the inconvenience. We continue to support Humax in their efforts to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Customers will be able to find the latest service updates on this page. In the meantime, customers can still enjoy BBC iPlayer content via other devices such as Smart TVs, tablets, smart phones, PCs and our latest 4K TV Boxes

Humax set-top boxes are currently unable to playback content from within BBC applications (including iPlayer, News and Sport), despite being able to open the apps. We apologise for the inconvenience and are in close contact with Humax to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
