The other manufacturers of freesat HD boxes and HD TVs are working with the BBC on the software update required for BBC iPlayer, to be released to their equipment in the coming months. Check back here for further updates.

Panasonic have advised us that BBC iPlayer should be available on Panasonic freesat HDTV from the following dates (software stability and successful testing permitting):
- 2009 Viera televisions: end of July 2010
- 2008 Viera televisions: end of September 2010

Update: Panasonic have advised that the software for the 2009 range requires some extra testing, and apologise for any disappointment caused by this delay. We hope to have more news for you on this in the coming weeks.

LG: please contact LG customer services directly for an update on 0844 847 5454.

Please note, only HD boxes and TVs can receive BBC iPlayer on freesat. SD boxes are not compatible.
